Tours for Families

Guided in English*

Make memories to last a lifetime with National Geographic Family Journeys with G Adventures. These tours are designed for adventure-loving families in search of a meaningful way to explore our world and learn something new along the way.

Led by local guides, every one of our Family Journey itineraries has been specially designed so travellers aged seven and above can explore a destination’s rich and diverse characteristics, in the company of 20 or fewer like-minded family travellers. This gives a unique opportunity for kids to deepen their understanding of the world while having fun, interacting with other international families and learning English.

Each itinerary features unique, interactive activities inspired by our expertise in photography and storytelling, wildlife and conservation, history and culture, and exploration to encourage kids and adults alike to connect with the world around them. Families will enjoy enlightening experiences, the freedom to explore, quality time together—and they’ll return home with a renewed sense of wonder.

From learning about wildlife conservation during an African safari adventure to perfecting photography and storytelling skills in South America and discovering more about local cultures during a trip to Vietnam, turn your travels into an unforgettable learning experience for the whole family.

Travel alongside other families, stay in comfortable and convenient accommodation and relax with the guidance of two dynamic Chief Experience Offers, who will give you unique insight about the destinations we visit and are specially trained to engage with young travellers.

When you travel with National Geographic you help to further the work of our scientists, explorers and educators around the globe as each year a proportion of our proceeds go to the National Geographic Society.

* Travelling on our Family Journeys, you will be joined by an international mix of like-minded family travellers and all tours will be guided in English. Some local guides speak Spanish too, especially in destinations around Southern Europe and South America, but the official language of the tour will be English.
